Hey there! Apologies I have been on a hiatus lately here on the blog and on my Facebook page. It’s summer here in The Netherlands and we have been presented with a lovely weather lately. So, the life here at the D’arc Creations HQ is on holiday mood. We are taking advantage on this beautiful weather to be in the garden, barbecue, cycle and we have also spent a great deal of time at my boyfriend parents boat. Last week we were with 4 of us boating from Katwijk (at the coast in Zuid-Holland) to Loosdrecht (in Noord-Holland). We had a great time and I got to see a lot of the beautiful Nederland.
You can take a look at some of the boat trip clicks.
Sunset in Katwijk.
Swimming was also included.
Next week we will be making another boat trip. This time to Friesland in the north of the country. If you will like to take a peak, you can find me on instagram as giselledarc, I will be posting some pictures there.
Meanwhile, I am hosting a sale at my Etsy store. Use the coupon code “SUMMER13” to get 15% on any order.
Hoppefully, everything will come to a normal by middle August. And I will start making new jewelry again and bringing new tutorials to you. So stay put! I hope you are all having a great time out there. I would love to hear how your summer is going, or your winter depending where you live.
I am very happy with how this bib necklace turned out. I love the combination of the bronze chains and these amazing teardrop shaped semi precious stabilized turquoise stones.
It features several turquoise teardrop, bronze chain, 6 and 4mm bicones and closes with a beautiful detailed toggle clasp. This piece is so versatile. Wear it with a summer dress or on an evening out.
So perfect for the switch from work day outfit to night out on the town! You can check it out at my Etsy Store!
Hello there lovelly readers! I am enjoying so much the decision of showing you guys the process of some of my jewelry. Today I’m bringing you a very easy, simple and yet very elegant earrings tutorial. Lets check the supplies list.
You will need:
– 2 earwires
– 2 rose connectors (or any kind of other connector of your choice)
– Jump rings
– 2 tear drop beads (I’ve chose red, because I love the contrast it makes with the shiny silver)
Step 1: Connect your earwire to the one of the loops of your connector.
Step 2: Slide your teardrop bead into the headpin and using your round nose pliers, make a loop at the pin.
Step 3: Open your jump ring and connect it to the loop you made on the headpin.
Step 4: Now you just have to connect the jump ring also to the other connector loop.
And you are ready. In 4 steps you have a very elegant pair of earrings.
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. And if jewelry making is not your thing, these earrings are available at my Etsy shop.
This is the last project I’ve worked on. It’s been a while since I’ve last decorated flip flops, so this was a very exciting project to make.
These are the famous Brazilian Havaianas flip flops, they are very popular, great quality and very comfortable to wear, perfetc for the summer.
